Location: Adel, Georgia (Local candidates only)
Pay: Approximately $17/hour, based on experience and local averages.
Type: Full-Time, Entry-Level Technician Apprenticeship.
About the Role
This is a hands-on apprenticeship for someone who wants to learn the IT and network security industry from the ground up. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians while gaining real-world experience in business networking, structured cabling, and technical support.
What You’ll Do
- Assist senior technicians with pulling network cables, labeling, and testing connections
- Help with ladder work, mounting hardware, and running wiring in office environments
- Provide Level 1 helpdesk and phone support under supervision
- Gain exposure to routers, switches, access points, VOIP, and security systems
- Study 1 hour per day (on company time) toward your first CompTIA A+ certification
- AEGIS pays for your first certification test (up to two attempts) and one new certification every six months
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be local to Adel, GA — this is an on-site position
- Reliable transportation
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and attention to detail
- Comfortable climbing ladders and occasionally working in attics or server rooms
