Customer Support Specialist (On-Site)
Location: Adel, Georgia (On-Site)
Pay: $18 – $22 per hour (Depending on Experience and Certifications)

About the Role
The Customer Support Specialist is the front-line representative of AEGIS Data Systems, assisting clients with day-to-day IT issues, service requests, and helpdesk support. You’ll work closely with network engineers and project teams to resolve issues efficiently while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys technology and helping others solve real problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide phone, email, and on-site technical support to clients
- Assist with password resets, printer setup, basic networking, and software troubleshooting
- Log and track tickets in the AEGIS support system
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or network teams
- Document all client interactions and resolutions clearly
- Maintain professionalism and security awareness in every client interaction
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–2 years of IT or customer support experience preferred
- Basic understanding of Windows, macOS, and common business software
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Patience and empathy when assisting users with technical issues
- Ability to follow documentation and procedures
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
Preferred Certifications
- CompTIA A+ (or willing to obtain within 6 months — company paid)
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or similar entry-level IT certification
