About the Role

The IT Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and delivery of client technology projects — from network deployments to software and AI integrations. You’ll work closely with engineers, developers, and clients to ensure every project stays on schedule, on budget, and aligned with AEGIS’s security-first standards. This role blends technical understanding with strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, scope, timelines, and resource coordination for client implementations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during active projects
  • Coordinate with engineering, software, and support teams to ensure smooth handoffs
  • Develop project documentation, milestones, and risk assessments
  • Track budgets, deliverables, and ensure quality control at each phase
  • Facilitate weekly progress meetings and maintain project dashboards
  • Ensure all projects meet AEGIS security and compliance standards (HIPAA, PCI, etc.)

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of project management experience in IT, networking, or software environments
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment
  • Understanding of network systems, cybersecurity, or software development cycles
  • Proficiency in project tools (Asana, Jira, or Microsoft Project)
  • Strong documentation and client-relationship management skills

Preferred Certifications

  • CompTIA Project+ or PMP Certification
  • ITIL, Agile, or Scrum Master Certification
  • CompTIA Security+ or Network+ (for technical awareness)
